Why shop through ChatGPT?

A weekly grocery shop is a list. You already know most of it, because you bought the same things last week. It still takes twenty minutes of typing into a search box, one product at a time.

A chat is good at lists. It can hold "the usual, minus the fish, plus something for Saturday" in one sentence and turn it into forty products. What it could not do was reach nemlig.com, because nemlig.com has no public API.

This service is the bridge. It speaks the Model Context Protocol on one side and nemlig.com on the other, and it hands your assistant 12 tools: search, products, recipes, the basket, past orders, and delivery windows. None of them can spend your money.

There is no chat here, no model, and nothing to learn. The chat you already use is the whole interface.

How to get started

  1. Step 1

    Make an account here

    An email address and a password. The account here is not your nemlig.com one; it is where Claude and ChatGPT sign in to reach it.

  2. Step 2

    Connect nemlig.com

    Give us your nemlig.com email and password once. We sign in as you, keep the session, and throw the password away. The session is good for a year.

  3. Step 3

    Paste one URL into Claude or ChatGPT

    Open Settings, then Connectors, then add a custom connector. The URL is on your account page here. Say yes on the page that opens.

A new way to do the shopping

Six things that change when the shopping list moves into the chat you already have open.

It fills the basket, you press buy.
The agent puts products in and stops there. No tool places an order. nemlig.com needs your password to take one, and this service keeps none. You open nemlig.com and pay for it yourself.
It knows your past orders.
It can read your order history, so "the usual" is something it looks up rather than something it guesses.
A whole recipe in one go.
Ask for a recipe and every ingredient lands in the basket at once. Change the number of people and the quantities follow.
It finds a delivery window that is still open.
A day carries about fifty windows, they overlap, and most are already gone. It shows you only the ones you can still take.
Your nemlig password is never stored.
We sign in with it once, and then it is gone. What stays is the session, encrypted alongside your email address. Claude and ChatGPT get a token for this service and nothing else.
Works in Claude and in ChatGPT.
One URL. Standard MCP over OAuth 2.1, so anything else that speaks MCP works too.
